About Montague Detention Center
The official facility page describes a 101-bed indirect-supervision jail with 22 employees working two jail shifts and a Jail and Transport Division. It is not a TDCJ prison. A person arrested by a municipal, county, or state officer in Montague County may be booked here, but the arresting agency and actual facility should still be confirmed.
No TDCJ prison, federal BOP institution, or ICE detention center was identified inside Montague County in the official directories reviewed. A state sentence can still lead from this jail to a TDCJ unit elsewhere in Texas. County of conviction does not determine the eventual prison unit.

The authoritative route after a name leaves the roster is a targeted sheriff request for the photograph tied to the booking number and date. Disclosure cannot be promised before the custodian reviews the request.
A booking image records an intake event. It does not prove conviction, community release, or present custody. TDCJ's public email-information route says photographs are not provided to the public, so a county booking image should be sought from the county custodian rather than the state prison search.
Leaving Montague Detention Center
No official source reviewed states a fixed release hour, public waiting location, property-pickup method, weekend schedule, or transportation arrangement. Call the 24-hour jail line for current instructions and avoid blocking the facility entrance. TAPS Public Transit lists Montague County within its demand-response service area, but no source documents a detention-center stop or a ride timed to release.
A separate 1927 county jail appears in historical materials. It is not the operating detention center. Current custody and release questions belong at 111 South Grand Street, not at a historic building or an address inferred from an old image result.
